Disney Cruise Lines

The Disney Cruise Line began operations in 1998 with the cruise ship Disney Magic and one year later the Disney Wonder set sail.  Each of these two ships has eight hundred and seventy five staterooms and are pretty much identical in their design.  There are some differences in the restaurants and entertainment that is available on each of the ships, but there are specific areas dedicated to the entertainment of certain age groups.  There are areas of the ship that are for toddlers, young children, teens and adults on board these spectacular cruise ships.

The Disney Cruise line is the first cruise line that has been designed specifically with families in mind.  You will not find any casinos on board these ships.  On board the family oriented ships you will find twelve decks with plenty of room for everyone in your vacation to find something to interest and entertain them.  Adults on board the ship will also find plenty of places where they can spend a romantic evening without the kids.

Trips on the ship can be  for three magical  nights with stops in Nassau and Castaway Cay, which is Disney's private island in the Bahamas.  Cruises scheduled for four nights will include the same stops as the three night cruise and include Freeport as well.  There are a couple of choices that you will have in the seven night cruises on the Disney Cruise Line.  In the eastern Caribbean cruise, you will cruise to St. Thomas, St. Maarten, St. John and Castaway Cay, the western Caribbean cruise will take you to Key West, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Castaway Cay.  There are additional seven day cruises that will explore the Mexican Riviera.  For those who would like to take a longer cruising vacation there are fifteen day cruises to the Panama Canal.

When you begin to explore all of the options that are available to you with Disney Cruise Lines, you will find that there are a great many variations in length of cruise and destinations.  The cruise line also features vacations that travel to the Mediterranean and offer exotic stops in Naples and France.

The Disney Cruise Line is an ideal choice for those who wish to travel to exotic locations with their entire family.  Many of the popular cruise lines are not family oriented and require you to look for a special cruising vacation that will accommodate children.  Disney Cruise Lines are a wonderful way to take your children to some of the most beautiful locations in the world and not worry about the activities on board the ship.

For families that are on a stricter budget, there are shorter trips that will allow the family to take a cruise without spending a great deal of money.  Families who have taken a trip to Disney World understand that everything is done to a spectacular level.  From the theme parks to the cruise line, everything that Disney does is sure to be an event to remember.  Take your family on a Disney Cruise for the time of your life.
